How to run Android on PC or Macintosh

This is a tutorial on how to install Android on your PC or Mac.Step 1)Download the software for android from here-AndroidOS-and also download the Eclipse Developer Software-EclipseDS-and wait for both to install.Eclipse is only for Windows Vista, XP, or Windows 7, so you need to find an alternative on the Macintosh.Step 2)Since both of them are in a ZIP file, you need to open Win.rar zip or jZip or any file extracting software and extract both files.Select the file you want to extract(or both,in this case)and press the extract button.Select any location you want to put it in,click on it,and press the extract button again, this time at the bottom right corner of your window. Both files will be extracted, and open the AndroidOS file.Step 3)Open the Eclipse Java application.Let it run until you reach the Workbench.Press the File icon on top and select Open file.Browse your files until you get to your AndroidOS folder.Select the android folder and after opening it click the SDK Manager with the little Android next to it.Press open and install all the 6 packages plus the versions of Android you want.I downloaded all of them but it takes a little while.Go to the link above and press it.After downloading the SDK packages press file again, and this time click on the AVD manager.Create a new AVD with the version of Android you want. Then press start and do not change any of the options. After you have clicked that, allow your virtual machine 15-20 mins to boot.If there are problems with your virtual machine,go to the website, there is a link at the very bottom saying for all first time users to click on,and follow the instructions there. It will require you to type code, but in the end you will be able to launch the emulator.
